The student’s advisor is responsible for guiding the student until he/she completes the program.
The department gives consideration to the student’s interests, preferred approach, and academic background as well as fields of research/education of the faculty members , and determines the student’s advisor after admission. The student shall download, fill out, and submit the questionnaire on his/her interests and preferred approach by the following due date.
As a general rule, the advisor of each student is chosen by the department from the full-time faculty members of the major that the student belongs to. However, a faculty member from another major can also be chosen as an advisor.
